Power Wall Section #
Remote Trip Relay #
Figure1. #
The Remote Trip Relay can be easily programmed by the GTMSUI interface. Its primary function is to facilitate the shutdown of critical components in the event of an emergency or if the temperature exceeds normal operating levels. It is capable of switching a maximum of 30V 5A DC, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. A typical Shunt trip release and Circuit Breaker from Schneider Electric is shown in the picture above.
It is important to note that the Remote Trip Relay should not be used with mains power 230/110 V AC. If the user wishes to switch AC Voltage, an external relay must be used.
Cooling Relay #
Figure 2. #
The Cooling Relay can be easily programmed by the GTMSUI interface. Its primary function is to facilitate the Cooling of the enclosure if the temperature exceeds the set value level. It is capable of switching a maximum of 30V 5A DC, making it suitable for a wide range of cooling fans. If a higher amperage device is used, an external relay must be used.
Heating Relay #
Figure 3. #
The Heating Relay can be easily programmed by the GTMSUI interface. Its primary function is to facilitate the Heating of the enclosure if the temperature falls below the set value level. It is capable of switching a maximum of 30V 5A DC. If a higher amperage Heater is used, an external relay must be used.
Dehumidifier Relay #
Figure 4. #
Like all the other relays the Dehumidifier Relay can be easily programmed by the GTMSUI interface. Its primary function is to facilitate the dehumidifying of the enclosure if the humidity raises above the set value level. It is capable of switching a maximum of 30V 5A DC. If a higher amperage dehumidifier is used, an external relay must be used.
External Relays #
Figure 5. #
On the above illustration, we observe a standard configuration involving external relays, where a 24 Volt power supply is connected to the (PCRB) Relay Board . This setup can be used to control the activation and deactivation cycles of an external 24 V DC Relay coil.
